WHAT PARENTS & TEACHERS ARE SAYING
"I can’t say enough about what STEM Minds has done for my kids. STEM Minds has provided a fun hands-on environment for my kids to learn about robotics, coding, VR, etc; basically, the future of tech and employment. The education system needs to catch up to what STEM Minds is providing!"
"STEM Minds is a place where curiosity and creatively is encouraged. From graphic design, 3D printing, Cad design and video game design, STEM Minds covers a variety of programs and gets kids thinking about what is possible and that there is no limit on what they can do. My son has shared details of the programs with engineers in our family and they are blown away by what he has learned with TinkerCad and how he is thinking about engineering & design. Aurora is a better place with an organization like STEM Minds in it – I would highly recommend their programs to anyone."
"Challenging, supportive and fun environment! STEM Minds is constantly changing their programming to stay current and relevant. Staff have education backgrounds and can support all abilities and kids with exceptionalities! Our kids have been attending since the first day they opened their doors – they love it!"
“My children have attended STEM Minds for some time, as their interest in these subjects has always been great. The programs have helped to support them in their learning, and continue their curiosity and enthusiasm in the fields they wish to pursue. It has been a great place for them to do what they love most!”
“Their work during camps seems very engaging and interesting. My child liked the camp even if it is just half day.”
“I have struggled to find programming that worked for my son (with Autism diagnosis). After attending the coding programs on the weekend, I registered for the March Break camp, and he has loved every minute of it.”
“The program as a whole is worthwhile. I have learned many things about the topic, refreshing my memory about the knowledge stock in me for a long time, and realising the things I have and need to improve in my teaching career.”
“This workshop on coding was really great because it covered 1st grade through 8th grade. It broke down the grade levels and gave a great explanation for the background knowledge for each of those grade clusters and it helped to make it easier to teach now to those grades. Most webinars only focus on 1-2 grade levels. This one helps with lower elementary all the way through a good chunk of secondary.”
“I am currently a mobile STEM lab teacher for my district and we teach lessons for Pre-K through 8th grade (usually). I felt that this workshop helped to reinforce what I've been teaching when it comes to coding. I currently teach coding to 3rd-8th grade. I'm always explaining to the students that coding is a technology language and ya'll mentioned that very thing in this webinar. My background for teaching is lower elementary (K-1), so this webinar really helped me to understand coding with upper grades (especially middle school). It had some really good points to help improve my teaching to those upper grades.”
