Wow, Week Four, Welcome All Campers!
Camp Director: Reza Beyzaei (aka “Mr. B”); Counselor: Jed (aka “Blck Socks”); Volunteer: Mateen (aka “The Matster”)
This week we were excited to have campers of varying ages and genders explore their STEM skills. This rich diversity allowed for a richer camp experience for all campers.
Creative Corner (Tech and Unplugged)
Each day our campers explore STEM not only using technology but also by engaging in unplugged activities. This allows for rich hands-on experiences and an opportunity to learn in a fun and creative way. This week some of the STEM activities were:
- Bugzilla – motorized bug
- Japanese fancy paper fan
- Aluminum can fan
- Fantastic Kaleidescope
- Metallic slime
- Crazy drawing robots
- Magic magnets with 3D printing
- Game Design
- Wearable Technology
- Arduino Programming and Circuits
I’m so proud of each of the camper’s accomplishments!
